Modern Secular Public School, is the mother of all Modern Institutions. This sapling of education was planted 12 years back in 1999 by Modern Secular Educational Society, Dhuri (Sangrur). And now as a result of hard toil, sweat and blood, far sightedness and the sweat of the brows of our Chairman, S. Harpal Singh and Director, S. Jagjit Singh, it has grown into a fully mature tree, spreading its educational aroma around.
Far from the Madding-Crowd, Modern Secular Public School is a milestone in the field of education conceived by Modern Secular Educational Society, Dhuri, Distt. Sangrur (Punjab) under the able supervision, guidance and dynamic leadership of Renowned Academicians S. Harpal Singh as Chairman, S. Jagjit Singh as Director and Smt. Gurvinder Kaur as Principal. Establishment in the year 1999, Modern Secular Public School is now duly Affiliated to C.B.S.E., New Delhi (switched over its affiliation from P.S.E.B. to C.B.S.E.). The school, with its campus at Daulatpur Road, Near M.K. Bye Pass is fast becoming a unique place for concrete grounding in skills and knowledge to provide a foundation for an outstanding educational career.
The school has multi-story building which consists of well lighted, well ventilated Class Rooms, Administrative Office, spacious Library, Well Equipped Labs, Multipurpose Hall etc. with excellent facilities. The school has privileged to have a team of dedicated and result oriented teachers who make all sorts of possible efforts to see that teaching and learning goes simultaneously. Keeping in mind, the need for all-round development of students, there is a provision of indoor and outdoor games for them. To create the needed awareness in the students, regarding the social evils in particular, working with the community is the regular feature of the school programme.

The medium of instruction of this school is English. A special emphasis is laid on spoken English develop a habit of unreflective right utterance among the students. It is achieved by adopting English as the spoken language of the school as well as by providing special syllabus and periods in the daily routine for conversational English. To asses the progress made and the standards achieved, the students are examined biannually.
To augment this, it is insisted that all the teachers are very well versed and proficient in the art of conversation in English Language.
The school is affiliated to the C.B.S.E., New Delhi vide Affiliation No. 1630581 upto 10+2 level in Science, Commerce & Humanities Groups.
Preference for admission is given to those students whose names have already been registered. A child can be got registered with the school for admission between March and commencement of academic session of every year. Registration is highly appreciated as it helps the school in planning.
